Do you want to make changes to your life but are not sure how to go about it or don’t have the willpower……….?
Hypnotherapy is a widely used clinical method to treat various issues helping you to make permanent, positive life changes. Unwanted patterns of behaviour such as smoking, phobias and weight management can be overcome naturally, permanently and affordably. Hypnotherapy can also increase your self esteem and deal with issues of self confidence, anxiety or stress through positive behavioural changes. There are many conditions which can be treated through Hypnotherapy, safely and comfortably.
How does it work?
Hypnotherapy takes place by sitting in a relaxing chair with your eyes closed. The therapist will then talk to you calmly, often using guided imagery, so that your conscious mind switches off – much like the feeling of daydreaming. This then allows the therapist access to your subconscious mind, offering suggestions for change to a certain behaviour, stress or addiction and so on. The client will be aware of everything that is happening and hear everything being said. It is a perfectly natural state of deep relaxation.
What is Hypnosis/Hypnotherapy?
Hypnosis is a deeply relaxed state of mind, in which your attention and receptiveness to suggestions or ideas is heightened, allowing the Hypnotherapist to make positive changes. It has been approved for use by the British Medical Association for over 50 years. Many people have preconceived notions about Hypnotherapy, mostly as the result of recent trends in watching stage hypnotists using their skills for entertainment value. In reality, the stage hypnotist will usually select compliant, extrovert types who are willing to do silly things suggested to them anyway! Whoever you are, when you are in hypnosis you will never do or say anything you do not want to. The therapist has no control over the client, they simply facilitate requirements for change to help achieve success.
